Oon miettinyt asioita ja nauttinut kauniista ilmoista ja lukenut kirjaa ja käynyt lounaalla pitkästä aikaa. Kirjoitin myös ylös listaa hyvistä ruokapaikoista täällä, etten unohda. Siitä tuli kahden sivun mittainen. Ehkä jaan valmiin version parhaita paloja myös blogiin, niin muutkin tietää minne mennä (siis Burger Kingin lisäksi).
Keskiviikkona Elvalla oli sen koko luokka synttäridiskossa meidän terassilla, mikä oli tottakai huippu kivaa. Eli siis kylässä oli 24 nelosluokkalaista. Mieleen muistui ne lukuisat ala-asteen limudiskot. Mut lapsilla oli hauskaa luulisin!
Eilen ja tänään avainsana on ollut kasvomaalaus, joten tänään meillä oli täällä kaks tiikeriä. Pixie oli tosi tyytyväinen, että maalasin Lilithin enkä häntä, sillä kuulemma tein ihan väärin kun en katsonut kirjasta mallia! Kun naamasta loppui tila, jatkettiin käsiin kukkasia ja merenneitoja ja sydämiä. Sit tietenkin vaihdettiin ja Lilith maalasi mua. Mun toiseen käteen se maalasi mut ja toisesta se ei oikein osannut sanoa; kämmen oli kuitenkin kokonaan punainen ja käsivarteen tuli ruskeaa ja vihreää ja pilkkuja.
Kuvissa myös otoksia kukkakuvapäiväkirjasta. Nyt ehkä nauttimaan viikonlopun vapaudesta, sillä ensi viikolla Kandace ja Joel matkaavat Roomaan ja pääsen leikkimään viiden lapsen yksinhuoltajaäitiä jihuu.
/ I've been mostly thinking and enjoying the nice weather and read a book and had some lunch after a while. I also started writing down a list about nice places to eat while in Stockholm, so I won't forget them. It ended up being two pages long. Maybe I'll share some tips here too, so other people also know where to go (other than Burger King, of course).
On wednesday my ten-year-old had a birthday party for the whole class of hers. So 24 of them were having a disco. In here. At least the kids had fun!
Yesterday and today the keyword has been face painting, so today we had two tigers running around the house. Pixie was relieved that I did Liliths face and not hers, because I didn't watch the picture from the book, so it was wrong… When there was no space in the face, we continued doing flowers and mermaids and hearts on hands and then finally it was Liliths turn to paint me (naturally)! So I have a picture of me on my other hand and the other is something even she wasn't sure about; just red and brown and green all smashed together.
In the pictures you can see some takes from my flower diary too. Now I'll be off enjoying the weekend before Kandace and Joel take off to Rome, and I'll get to try how it feels to be a single mother for five kids. /
