On ollut kovin mukavaa ja lämmintä. Tuomet ja omenapuut kukkii ja eilen oli ensimmäistä kertaa kesälämmin. Tähän asti on ollut vaan keväisen lämpimiä päiviä, eli joissa vielä vähän tuoksuu talvi eikä oo lämmin muuta kun auringossa (22 astetta).
Lauantaina olin aamun tyttöjen kanssa puistossa ja käytiin ostamassa jätskit sillä välin, kun isot sai rauhassa soittaa viulua kotona ja Kandace juoksi puolimaratonia. Mun mieleen aina välillä tulee, että syksy lähestyy kovasti ja oon vähän miettinyt mitä mahdan silloin tehdä. Me puhuttiin myös Pixien ja Lilithin kanssa tulevaisuudesta, vaikkei se ole ehkä ihan yhtä ajankohtainen aihe niille. Pixie sanoi, että se aikoo ryhtyä barnsflickaksi niinkun minä ja Lilith sanoi, että siitä tulee isä:-).
Sunnuntaina kävin kirppiksellä aamulla ja lounastamassa ja sit aurinkoa sekä piknik. Kovin rentoa menoa jatkoin eilen pyykeillä ja lukemalla kirjaa terassilla ja tänään toisella piknikillä. Oon niin helppoa, kun voi vihdoin taas olla ulkona.
Pölyiset kadut ja liian vähäinen uni on saaneet mut kovin laiskaksi, kunnes tänään illalla oli mitä täydellisin sää; lämmintä ja pieni sade puhdistamaan ilmaa. Vihdoin huvitti lähteä juoksemaan ja sitten luettiin Peppiä iltasaduksi. Oon myös ymmärtänyt ruotsalaistuneeni hälyttävästi. Niin kuin kaikki, jumppaan vähän enemmän ja sitten syön tyytyväisenä marmeladileipiä. Juuston kanssa. Joka päivä. Niin hyvää.
Hauskaa vappua kaikille! Enää pitää selvittää syöks ruotsalaiset tippaleipää.
/ It's been so nice and so warm. The cherry blossoms are dying, but they're being replaced by bird cherries and apple blossoms. Yesterday it was summer-warm for the first time, because until then it had only been spring-warm. Which means, that it finally was warm even when there was a cloud in front of the sun (22 degrees).
Saturday morning I was up and out cheerily around 9.30 since I took the girls to a park near by. The bigger kids had their violin lessons in peace and quiet and Kandace was running a half marathon. We went to get ice cream afterwards, so it was nice and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful. I've started to think about next fall, and what exactly am I going to do then. We also talked about future with Pixie and Lilith. Pixie said she wants to be a nanny like me and Lilith said she's going to be a dad:-).
On Sunday I went for a flea market in the morning and then had some lunch and then had a picnic. Continued my lazy time yesterday with some laundry and a book in our terrace and today with another picnic. It is so nice to be able to spend time outside again.
The dusty streets and too few hours of sleep have made me really lazy with sports, until tonight it was like the perfect weather for a run. Warm, but raining a bit to clean the air from all dust and pollen. I've also realized how swedish I've become. Like everybody, I do a bit more sports, and then enjoy my marmalade sandwiches. Everyday. And with cheese, please. So good. /
